The concept behind this undeniably contemporary clock was to reduce and subtract; everything unnecessary was removed to achieve an essential, decoration-free clock. The only hands marking the time are the hour and the red second hands; for the minutes, you simply read the cursive inscriptions between the hours. In essence, pure minimalism where the mantra is 'less is more.' As with all dESIGNoBJECT productions, the metal sheet forming the clock face is entirely made in Italy, laser cut, bent, powder-coated, and meticulously screen-printed by skilled artisans using the finest materials to ensure long-lasting durability; the incorporated mechanical movement is by the renowned German company Junghans, one of the most famous in the watchmaking world.
