Sand is an optimal solution for water purification both in ecological and economic terms. From now on, anyone can now rely on a new ally for cleaning the filter system, Active Clear Glass.
Active Clear Glass is the eco-sustainable filtering glass sand obtained from recycled and finely chopped glass, its grainy composition is smooth to the touch and amorphous which makes each piece of different shape so as to effectively and lastingly prevent clogging inside the purifying sand filter.
Active Clear Glass sand is an excellent alternative to silica sand: the glass granulate has excellent filtering characteristics, is compatible with any type of sand filter, is longer lasting and less dense, which is why it can be cleaned much more easily during rinsing the pool filter; this allows a maintenance that is not only simpler but above all cheaper, in fact the lower bacterial accumulation requires a reduced number of backwashings with a water saving of up to 20/30%.
In contact with water, the particular self-sterilizing nature of glass sand considerably reduces the proliferation of bacteria, significantly improving filtration and making the pool water biologically cleaner, extremely healthy and hygienic for a long time.
