La serra può contare su una capacità di carico di 55 kg/mq e su un basamento robusto e compatto che la rende ormai parte integrante del giardino. Sono stati inoltre incorporati pannelli trasparenti in policarbonato che filtrano fino al 99,9% dei raggi UV, congiunti a grondaie poste sui lati del tetto, per mantenere la giusta umidità e prevenire eventuali gelate. La serra dispone inoltre di una porta a battente per un accesso rapido e di una finestra a vasistas regolabile per una buona ventilazione.
