ProduceShop has been supporting the global commitment to environmental sustainability by taking part in the fight against pollution of plastic since its foundation, and we have made this possible by moving away from a linear economy towards a circular economy, which provides long-term benefits. Our partners and the use of recycled plastic
Most of the companies we work with are adapting their production processes to encourage less use of plastic, proper recycling and fairer disposal at the end of its life cycle. Their collections offer furniture and furnishings made from recycled or discarded materials, disused objects and plastics derived from everyday consumption. The end products thus regenerated are of high quality and combine style and environmental awareness. They are ecofriendly pieces of furniture designed for all areas of modern living and therefore aimed at total environmental sustainability.
Most of the outdoor furniture we offer, for example, is made of 100% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), used in packaging for milk, detergents, tubs, etc. The coloured elements that compose them come from materials recovered from waste products meant for disposal; products that have therefore completed their life cycle and are added during the colouring process.
So this is why we at ProduceShop have decided to work alongside those who produce without destroying; those who imagine the products that surround us already thinking about their future, about when they will no longer be needed; those who design them inspired by Nature, respecting its functioning and conceiving a healthier and more sustainable use of the object, also taking into account its life cycle.
