Bio-cook Oil is the Illa product line that is already synonymous with nature and health, and becomes even more organic thanks to the innovative patented Ollia-Tech coating. Its excellent nonstick properties, thanks to the olive oil contained in the coating, make cooking without fats possible. This coating was created by Illa's Research and Development department; composed of three layers, the last of which consists of a mixture of olive oil and water and is free of chemical solvents. In addition, laboratory tests have proven that the coating with olive oil is more performing than the best nonstick coatings on the market because it contains the most natural nonstick materials. The olive oil is in fact added in the final stage of the production process and forms an extremely thin microfilm that increases the nonstick property of the compound itself. The special olive oil coating is the ideal solution for the consumer who combines healthy cooking with a healthy and ecological lifestyle, since it ensures the possibility of cooking without fat while paying attention to the environment: Ollia-Tech, like all the coatings of Illa products, is free of PFOA and heavy metals.
The structure of Bio-cook Oil pots and pans is completed by a high thermal conductivity aluminium body composed exclusively of aluminium discs, an excellent heat conductor, light and easy to handle. The aluminium reaches higher temperatures in less time and is able to distribute the heat uniformly over the entire surface of pans, pots and saucepans, ensuring better cooking of food.
The outside of these cooking tools is instead coated with green silicone paint, which adds a touch of elegance and matches the nonstick coating with olive oil. The entire item is sealed in a rectified base and an average thickness of 3 mm. The handles are ergonomic and welded in Bakelite that do not overheat with a soft touch effect, for a more comfortable and manageable experience.
The Bio-cook Oil pots and pans set consists of: 1 Frying Pan, 1 Frying Pan for crepes, 1 Casserole with two handles, 1 Larger Casserole with two handles, 1 Saucepan with one handle and two lids in tempered glass with air vent. All elements are suitable for gas hobs, electric hobs, ceramic glass hobs and halogen hobs. The set of pots and pans is dishwasher safe.
